The Charge Tank is located where a traditional gas tank would be and cannot be installed on Zero electric motorcycles equipped with the Power Tank option.
What is a Power Tank?
Go further with Zero’s Power Tank option. The Power Tank is an extra battery pack for increasing your motorcycle’s overall range. The Zero electric motorcycle Power Tank is a dealer installed accessory and is located where a traditional gas tank would be. The Power Tank cannot be installed on Zero electric motorcycles equipped with a Charge Tank.
What is an Accessory Quick Charger?
Zero has made it easy to reduce your recharge time by as much as ~50%. An Accessory Quick Charger is an external device that connects to the motorcycle‘s existing charging system. The Quick Charger adds an additional 1kW of charging power for faster recharge.
The chargers that come stock with Zero motorcycles’ draw up to 1500W (Zero S, SR, DS, DSR) or 800W (Zero FX, FXS, FXE). Additional accessory chargers you can add, draw up to 1200W.
